A unique and nice example of top jewelry of Ancient Greece. Very delicate chain of twisted golden wire, decorated with multilayer flowers, and numerous branches of twisted wire chain with flowers and spearhead shape pendants. Techniques of accomplishment: chasing, forging, soldering, scans, grains.
Condition report: original intact condition, no restoration, nice natural patina.
Provenance: in 1933 sold in Morecambe, UK. From then in collection of gentlemen from London. In 1955 sold in London to Rotterdam, in Dutch collection. In 1972 sold in Amsterdam, in collection of Dutch gentleman. In 2018 sold by his son.
